According to the international PIANC recommendations, the total of the additional required depth under the keel is recommended to be equal to 10% of the maximum draft.
In the meantime, the existence of only a small number (10%) of longer cruise ships approaching Mykonos today at a frequency of approach less than 10% resulted in an increase in the effective depth.

Thus, under calm weather conditions, cruise ships up to approximately 250-m long may berth in the project.
