ARTIFICIAL ISLAND

The artificial island's front that was formed consists of cellular box caissons measuring 18.30m * 9.30m * 11.60m (length*width*height) for the berth of car ferries and cruise ships.

The quay wall is cut as following:

  a straight quay wall, approximately 560.00-m long, in a direction almost parallel to the bottom depth curves, which is located at a distance from the coast where the -10 to -15-m depth curves, are found.  
  Section Á7-Á1 : a wharf at an angle, in an almost south direction, which is used for the bilateral berth of car ferries and protection of the marina from waves.
